Overview
As a Data Engineer within our Data Platform and Engineering Services team, you will have the opportunity to develop high-performance data pipelines to feed into the NexusPay Data Warehouse. Our Data Warehouse serves as a crucial analytical resource for various business users, enabling them to address a wide range of business challenges through data-driven insights. You will play a pivotal role in a rapidly growing organization, collaborating closely with experienced and driven engineers to tackle complex problems.
Role
Develop high-quality, secure, and scalable data pipelines using Python, Spark, Java/Scala on object storage and Hadoop platforms.
Write Ad Hoc SQL queries for data engineering and database verifications.
Leverage new technologies and methodologies to innovate with increasingly large datasets.
Collaborate with project teams to meet scheduled deadlines, while identifying and resolving emerging issues.
All About You
Strong development experience with Python.
Proficient in SQL with hands-on experience working with databases.
Experience working with big data technologies.
Background in data engineering and pipeline development.
This position is hybrid and will be partially based at our O’Fallon, Missouri campus.
