Job Description:
EduNova Solutions has embraced cloud technologies in the data warehouse domain for data storage, pipelines, modeling, reporting, and analytics. The Cloud Data Platform (CDP) administrator will play a pivotal role in configuring, maintaining, upgrading, and supporting the tools used in this data warehouse domain to ensure system availability. This role demands proactive skills and dynamic acumen in collaborating with the data warehouse team, including data engineers, data analysts, data architects, BI reporting team, and analytics team. The CDP administrator will also collaborate with the infrastructure team to plan and maintain the cloud data warehouse systems and collaborate with auditors to ensure industry compliance.

Responsibilities:

Manage and configure the Informatica Intelligent Cloud Service (IICS) tool to ensure pipeline compliance with SLAs.
Manage and configure ingestion pipelines set up for various sources through the Fivetran tool to ensure pipeline compliance with SLAs.
Manage and configure Google BigQuery Administration, including projects, datasets, and tables.
Address audit questions and establish/maintain automated processes to facilitate audit activities.
Secure resources and ensure proper user access.
Manage workloads (jobs, queries, and compute capacity) and monitor resources (quotas, jobs, and compute).
Optimize workloads for performance and cost control, troubleshoot error messages and quotas to save costs.
Possess proficiency in relational databases and SQL to manage and support daily operations.
Manage Power BI administration for organizational-wide settings, including role assignments, configuration, monitoring, and provisioning organizational resources.
Collaborate on code promotions for data pipelines, modeling work, reporting, and analytics code using Azure DevOps and Github repositories. Adapt the DevOps process as needed to comply with auditing requirements.
Collaborate with auditors to support user access reviews, define roles and accesses to data warehouse tools, and develop industry-standard compliance processes to adhere to PCI, SOX, GDPR, CCPA regulations. Automation of audit activities is essential.
Develop Python Google functions and utilize other Google technologies, Unix shell scripting, and Python coding skills to support ingestion and other application requirements. Collaborate with the infrastructure network team to request firewall changes and manage network devices. Demonstrate a strong understanding of WAN operations to handle cloud-based data sources.
Possess Unix knowledge to manage IICS servers, FTP servers, and batch operations. Utilize Unix shell scripting and Python scripting to support batch operations.
Demonstrate Windows proficiency to ensure software tool availability for data engineers, reporting, and analytics teams. Establish best practices for monitoring, maintaining, and supporting data pipelines, data warehouse-related servers, data warehouse software/tools, and cloud data warehouse infrastructure.
Possess knowledge of software licensing used in Data Warehouse administration.
Possess knowledge of paid media digital marketing and related APIs for data ingestion pipelines. Document activities and processes related to CDP administration and architecture.
Collaborate with architects to maintain standards, manage architectural issues, and recommend alternatives to simplify methods and processes.
Meet with subject matter experts across various business areas to learn their concepts, language, and develop an understanding of how their data supports their business processes. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems.
Five (5) plus years of SQL experience with Relational Database Systems (RDBMS).
Required proficiency in Python code development using Google function and Unix shell scripting.
Proficiency in Data Warehouse concepts (e.g., Star Schema, Data Model, Data Lake, Semantic Layer).
Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and with vendors.
Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to perform duties and responsibilities on time with moderate supervision.
Good knowledge in administration of Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), Fivetran, & Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
